Konark International Cyclthon 2015

 The Great KIC was held on 29^th of November 2015, with lots of active participants. It’s director and conveyer Mr.Sudhir Dash shared, “It would encourage visitors to increasingly consider the use of non-polluting vehicles and draw the attention of tourists towards the importance of ecology, economy and human health. He stressed that it is neither a cycle race nor a competion.”

Promoters Of KIC 2015
Indian born Swedish artist Dr PK Mahanandia had joined as the brand ambassador of the KIC 2015. He has an interesting story associated with him that he travelled through three continents, from New Delhi to Gothenberg in 1977, on his cycle for four months and three weeks to meet his love Charlotte, in Sweden.

The event was jointly promoted by some of the famous celebrities like the Ollywood actor Sidhanta Mohapatra, Film maker Nila Madav Panda, former Indian Hockey Team Captain Dilip Tirkey, Sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo, Mountaineer Jogabyasa Bhoi, , Scuba diver Sabir Bux and Arjuna Awardee Cyclist Minati Mohapatra.
